Jeju Wellness lodge architecture focuses on creating spaces that promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and a connection with Jeju nature. Key elements include integrating the building with its surroundings (small peak), using natural light and materials(lava concrete), and designing for sensory experiences. The goal is to foster a holistic sense of well-being through thoughtful design and program.
In the past, especially in the 1990s, before overseas travel became widespread, Jeju Island was considered the top domestic honeymoon destination.
Back then, Jeju Is land was so crowded with newlyweds that airlines even launched special flights for them. The "Jeju Island honeymoon boom" briefly faltered in the 2000s as overseas travel became more widespread, but has recently seen a resurgence in popularity.

"JEJU WOLLA LODGE" is a luxury cultural complex located in the southern part of Jeju Island. It was initially conceived as a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, sip green tea on a small hilltop, and enjoy beautiful ocean views. The project aimed to harmonize the site's exceptional characteristics with the spatial context.
Programs are sequentially arranged along the slope, gradually shaping the views within each space, ideal for appreciation, travel, and reflection. The wall-type structure plays a key role in creating spatial continuity while preserving the views. The sloping terrain naturally leads to multi-level structures, which control the level of spatial congestion.
